Snapchat - is it an underdog that will come and start fighting facebook for marketshare and timeshare?
Naturally for businesses like this, advertising dollars is what they are going for. And with the kids doing video broadcasts regularly these days. Everything will be video before long.
Facebook has it's Instagram and Whatsapp though, so its not going anywhere anytime soon.

Water prices + related taxes to increase by 30% (Singapore)
Continuing the tradition of pay and pay methodology. Singapore Water prices to hike 30% by July 2018. So this year 2017 July should see a 15% hike...
Await for coffee prices at kopitiam to increase shortly.... ;)
In a time of economic difficulty, it is amazing such increase on what I call necessity commodity is called for.
One might argue that Singapore do not have sufficient catchment areas to collect water and require expensive technology to extract usable water. So ladies and gentlemen, prepare to save water. Lets all try and save 30% water usage .
I look forward to a day where cheap water production methods become available, I wonder if the price would be moved down when that happens.

Fake New and Alternative Facts and now the Wall
Every nation should build a wall and get the neighbour to pay for it ! Isn't that neat ?
Scrape some $$ off the remittance money, slap a 20% tariffs for imports. More than enough for the golden wall but the expense of lots of businesses and consumers. But could be a good thing, if you want to get people to stop spending....
If such negotiation tactics can be used on Mexico, I guess it can be used towards any other countries as well.. How will the rest of the world react if similar threats are thrown at them? Certainly a scenario everyone must plan for.
